In the warmth of summer, I discovered a timeless fusion. A family recipe, passed down through generations, blending mangoes with peri peri spices. This aromatic symphony inspired "Mango Peri Peri Mule," a vibrant cocktail that weaves:

Ingredients

  • - 2 oz Tequila
  • - 1 oz Mango Puree
  • - 1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • - 1/2 oz Green Chilli Syrup (or 1-2 dashes green chilli juice)
  • - 1/4 oz Kaffir Lime Leaf Syrup (or 2-3 kaffir lime leaves)
  • - Salt, for rimming glass
  • - Homemade Peri Peri Masala, for rimming glass

Steps

  1. 1. Rim a highball glass with salt and homemade Peri Peri Masala.
  2. 2. Fill cocktail shaker with ice.
  3. 3. Add tequila, mango puree, lime juice, green chilli syrup, and kaffir lime leaf syrup.
  4. 4. Shake vigorously for 10-12 seconds.
  5. 5. Strain into prepared glass.
  6. 6. Garnish with mango, lime, and cilantro.
