Bird is the Word

This is Jungle Bird meets The Last Word. I removed the Campari and Luxardo Maraschino from their respective recipes and replaced with Amaro. A much nicer and balanced cocktail. Created during my last 7 years at The Tonga Hut.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. Hamilton Jamaican black pot still rum
  • .5oz. Ford’s Gin
  • .5oz. green chartreuse
  • .5oz. Montenegro amaro
  • .5oz. simple
  • .75oz. lime juice
  • 2oz. Pineapple juice

Steps

  1. Fill a tin shaker with ice, add all ingredients, shake well, Pour into a tall bamboo style glass.
