Riding on Shells

A tropical sweet blend of pistachio butter, mango & pineapple with rum

Ingredients

  • -40ml @lostyearsrum Pistachio butter fat washed lost years four island rum*.
  • -10ml Creme de banana (@briottetliqueur ).
  • -5ml Mango syrup.
  • -2 Dashes pineapple bitters.

Steps

  1. Stir & strain over cubed ice
  2. Garnish with dried banana chip
  3. Pistachio fat washed rum:.
  4. ~60ml Rum : 5ml Pistachio butter (or multiples of).
  5. -Heat pistachio butter until runny & mix with rum in a sealed container.
  6. -Seal lid & shake to mix.
  7. -Add to freezer & leave for 6-8 hours.
  8. -The pistachio butter will freeze, the rum won’t. The rum will pull the flavour out of the butter.
  9. -Cloth strain the mixture leaving the solids in the cloth & the pistachio fat washed rum will filter through.
  10. -Seal in a fresh container & enjoy
