El Diablo Wall

Inspired by rock climber Jon Straub and Dante's Wall at Red Rocks Canyon. This cocktail won first place for an original cocktail in the annual Reach for the Moon competition at Crescent School of Gaming and Bartending in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 27, 2022.

Ingredients

• Collins glass Rimmed with a Pink Himalayan and Smoked Paprika blend
• 1 1/2 oz Tequila
• 1/2 oz Ginger Infused In the Raw Turbinado Simple Syrup
• 1 oz Orange Juice (fresh)
• 1/2 oz Lime Juice (fresh)
• Fill and float with Black Cherry Sparkling Water
• Garnish with a Lime wedge/wheel

Steps

1. Rim Collins glass with pink Himalayan and smoked paprika blend and fill with ice
2. Build in mixing glass: simple syrup, orange juice, lime juice, and tequila
3. Shake with ice and strain into Collins glass
4. Fill and Float Black Cherry Sparkling Water
5. Garnish with lime wedge/wheel
