Bae of Bengal
A rich leathery, sweet and Smokey cocktail for anytime of the day
Ingredients
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 1 oz Maple syrup
- 0.5 oz Fresh lemon juice
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 sprig Fresh rosemary
- Ice cubes
- Optional- Smoke infuser with maple wood chips
- Smoked sea salt (for rimming the glass)
Steps
- Rim a rocks glass with a slice of lemon and dip it into smoked sea salt to coat the rim.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine bourbon, maple syrup, fresh lemon juice, and Angostura bitters.
- Add ice cubes and shake well until chilled.
- Strain into the prepared rocks glass filled with ice cubes.
- Place a fresh rosemary sprig on top of the cocktail.
- Optional: use a smoke infuser with maple wood chips to add a puff of smoke and serve immediately.
