Ginger Haze

Necessity truly became the mother of invention, when an absence of certain ingredients led to experimentation with available items. Following several rounds, the correct balance was achieved, yielding a light-yet-flavorfully-complex taste as enjoyable on winter night as summer afternoons.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 ounce vodka
  • 1/2 ounce ginger preserves
  • 2 teaspoons Faccia Brutto Centerbe (or Green Chartreuse or similar liqueur)
  • Juice of 1/4 lime
  • Prosecco

Steps

  1. Shake over ice all ingredients - except Prosecco - strain into Champagne flute and top with Prosecco.
