An Irish variant of a traditional Manhattan

Ingredients

  • 70 ml Jameson Black Barrel or Bushmills 12 Year Distillery Reserve Irish Whiskey
  • 25 ml Valencia Island Vermouth
  • 10 ml Simple Syrup
  • 3 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Garnish: Brandied Cherry (or lemon twist, if preferred)

Steps

  1. Add the Irish Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth, and Bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
  2. Strain into a chilled Coupe Glass
  3. Garnish with a brandied cherry (or a lemon twist, if preferred)
