An Irish variant of a traditional Manhattan
Ingredients
- 70 ml Jameson Black Barrel or Bushmills 12 Year Distillery Reserve Irish Whiskey
- 25 ml Valencia Island Vermouth
- 10 ml Simple Syrup
- 3 dashes Angostura Bitters
- Garnish: Brandied Cherry (or lemon twist, if preferred)
Steps
- Add the Irish Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth, and Bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
- Strain into a chilled Coupe Glass
- Garnish with a brandied cherry (or a lemon twist, if preferred)
