A more potent variation of an old fashioned/Manhattan. Absinth combined with Luxardo's maraschino taste with added bitters

Ingredients

  • 2 Shots of Hill Absinth
  • 1/2 shot of Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
  • 2 Luxardo Maraschino cherries and a spoon of the syrup in the maraschino cherry jar
  • Few dashes of Angosturo bitter
  • Few dashes of Orange bitter
  • 3 inch orange zest

Steps

  1. Use tumbler glass and fill half way with ice
  2. Mix all ingredients except orange zest
  3. Stir
  4. Squeeze orange zest in multiple places, wipe the rim of the glass with zest and put zest in the drink as decoration
  5. Limit consumption to 3 per night
