Dragon on Fire

Let me confess, I have never tried dragon fruit in my life! This is the first time, I am tasting this fruit! It looks amazing from outside but when you cut it open; it looks like a fantasy fairy tale fruit. Okay Okay, I am exaggerating it now

Ingredients

  • – 1 Dragon Fruit
  • – 30 ml White Rum
  • – 1/2 Fresh Lime
  • – Can of Ginger Beer
  • – Blueberries
  • – 2-3 Fresh Mint leaves
  • – 5 ml 151 Proof Rum
  • – Ice

Steps

  1. Muddle it up..
  2. – Cut half of the dragon fruit into pieces.
  3. – Add the fruit, lime slices, couple of blueberries, mint leaves into the muddling glass. Muddle everything.
  4. – Now, pour the mixture into a shaker
  5. – Add White Rum
  6. – Add 3-4 ice cubes and shake it well.
  7. Pour it to gulp!
  8. – Take a tall glass, add some ice cubes, layer with pieces of dragon fruit, and blueberries.
  9. – Pour the mixture, half way.
  10. – Pour Chilled Ginger Beer to top.
  11. – Garnish with Dragon fruit slice.
  12. Fire it up..
  13. – Cut a shallow end of a lime
  14. – Empty it with knife
  15. – Place it carefully on top of the glass.
  16. – With the help of a pipette, add drops of 151 proof Rum
  17. – Light the fire, 151 Proof Rum will catch the fire immediately. (****Please blow it away if you are not comfortable handling it.****)
  18. Take some cool pictures while enjoying the sips of you dragon on fire drink
