Smoked cinnamon sour

twist on the classic whiskey sour, with the addition of maple syrup and a smoked cinnamon simple syrup, simple syrup was made 1:1 with a handful of charred cinnamon sticks and let sit for 1 hour after cooling.

Ingredients

  • 42.5ml James on
  • 40ml diluted maple syrup
  • 20ml smoked cinnamon syrup
  • 20ml Lime juice
  • 15ml egg whites

Steps

  1. Torch a stick of cinnamon and Place a coup glass over it to smoke the glass, while the glass is being smoked add all ingredients to the shaker and dry shake. Add ice and wet shake then fine strain into the smoked coup glass.
  2. Garnish with the used stick of cinnamon and angostura bitters.
