Great Man

Written by Filip Karpíšek
Flavor-wise, it's more on the sour side thanks to the fresh lemon juice, yet with sweet notes as well. However, the most dominant aspect is the taste of bourbon. Personally, I most often use just a foamer. Only when I want to soften the cocktail significantly do I use egg white. The aroma is very intense, just like the taste.

Ingredients

  • Woodford Reserve 4cl
  • Grand Marnier 2cl
  • Martini Riserva Speciale Rubino 2cl
  • Fresh lemon juice 2cl
  • Foamer Stillabunt (or egg white)
  • Orange bitter 1 dash

Steps

  1. Chill the whiskey glass.
  2. Place all ingredients into a shaker.
  3. A hard shake is better to achieve the right consistency.
  4. Serve over an ice cube or ball.
  5. Then, garnish with orange peel and squeez it for better smell

I'm Filip Karpíšek I practice my craft at Barracuda Cocktail Bar. Stop by and see me sometime!

I literally stumbled upon this field by accident, as we say. I studied information technology, but after a few years, I started helping a friend with slicing limes. After two months of observing, I began to really enjoy this work and couldn't stop. Now, I've been working as a head bartender for two years.
