Another Day in Paradise
Inspired by a combination of the two classic cocktails, Bellini and French75 - both of them perfect for a boozy, sunny brunch!
Ingredients
- 1oz Gin
- 1.5oz lychee juice
- Dash of rose water
- Topped with dry Sparkling Wine
- Garnished with lychee and dried rose petals (stuck to the glass with sugar syrup)
Steps
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour the gin, lychee juice and a few dashes of rose water (according to how strong the rose water is) and shake vigorously for approximately 20 seconds until well chilled.
- Slightly dip the rim of a Champagne flute in simple syrup (preparation mentioned above) and then into a shallow bowl/plate with dried rose petals so that the petals stick to the rim. Place a fresh peeled lychee in the glass.
- Pour the mix into the prepared Champagne flute and top it up with the sparkling white wine. Stir and serve!
