Bar of Bengal
A rich leathery, sweet and Smokey cocktail for anytime of the day
Ingredients
- • 2 oz Bourbon
- • 1 oz Maple syrup
- • 0.5 oz Fresh lemon juice
- • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- • 1 sprig Fresh rosemary
- • Ice cubes
- • Optional- Smoke infuser with maple wood chips
- • Smoked sea salt (for rimming the glass)
Steps
- 1. Rim a rocks glass with a slice of lemon and dip it into smoked sea salt to coat the rim.
- 2. In a cocktail shaker, combine bourbon, maple syrup, fresh lemon juice, and Angostura bitters.
- 3. Add ice cubes and shake well until chilled.
- 4. Strain into the prepared rocks glass filled with ice cubes.
- 5. Place a fresh rosemary sprig on top of the cocktail.
- 6. Optional: use a smoke infuser with maple wood chips to add a puff of smoke and serve immediately.
