Barrels & Botanicals

Written by Matt Bonetti
This cocktail is a bold and harmonious blend of flavors that dances between smooth, herbal, and citrusy notes. The bourbon provides a warm, comforting base, while the Braulio Amaro introduces a layer of alpine herbs and spices, offering an earthy complexity. The bright, zesty touch of Cointreau adds a refreshing citrus twist, beautifully balancing the richness of the spirits. A few dashes of Peychaud’s bitters contribute a subtle layer of aromatic depth and a hint of anise, rounding out the profile with a gentle, spiced finish. Perfect for sipping slowly, this cocktail is both sophisticated and intriguing—ideal for those who enjoy a drink with character and complexity.
