A rich leathery, sweet and Smokey cocktail for anytime of the day

Ingredients

  • • 2 oz Bourbon
  • • 1 oz Maple syrup
  • • 0.5 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • • 1 sprig Fresh rosemary
  • • Ice cubes
  • • Optional- Smoke infuser with maple wood chips
  • • Smoked sea salt (for rimming the glass)

Steps

  1. 1. Rim a rocks glass with a slice of lemon and dip it into smoked sea salt to coat the rim.
  2. 2. In a cocktail shaker, combine bourbon, maple syrup, fresh lemon juice, and Angostura bitters.
  3. 3. Add ice cubes and shake well until chilled.
  4. 4. Strain into the prepared rocks glass filled with ice cubes.
  5. 5. Place a fresh rosemary sprig on top of the cocktail.
  6. 6. ⁠Optional: use a smoke infuser with maple wood chips to add a puff of smoke and serve immediately.
